Generations in Law – A Family’s Legal Journey from the Ground Up

Dele Olawanle

Dele Olawanle is the Principal Solicitor and Founder of Del & Co. Solicitors. He has run his legal practice for the last 19 years. Dele’s practice covers a vast range of specialities including immigration, family law, civil litigation, criminal law, employment law and more.

He was inspired to practise law based on his own personal experience with the Immigration Authorities where he reported at police stations for 8 years, was detained for 5 weeks and almost deported before being granted settlement in the UK. Following this, he graduated as Mature Student before founding his own legal practice.

He is the host of the popular daily TV programme, Legal Panorama, a legal programme where he discusses current and legal issues that affects people’s everyday lives.

Samuel Olawanle

Samuel Olawanle presently serves as a Solicitor in Training at Del & Co Solicitors, where he specializes in the field of Immigration Law. He is also an esteemed alumnus of Westminster University, where he successfully completed his Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Law.

He spent his formative years studying in Nigeria at Lifeforte International High School before returning to the UK for his A-levels at Collingham College.

Additionally, Samuel Olawanle is also a musician, producer and singer-songwriter under the alias Dr.Cube. His passion for music was ignited by his father’s vinyl record collection and old cassette tapes. Samuel has created and collaborated with other artists and released his debut self-produced project, “Soltape,” in 2020.

Joshua Olawanle

Joshua Olawanle is an alumnus of SOAS University where he obtained his LLB in Law in 2019. During his time at SOAS, he was an active participant in the university’s Law Society. Simultaneously he was also a valued member of the men’s football 1st team.

Following his graduation, Joshua pursued the LPC at the University of Law, completing his studies in 2020. Briefly after finishing the LPC, he joined his father’s firm before transitioning into a new role.

Currently, Joshua serves as a Legal Analyst at one of the Nation’s renowned Big 4 firms.

Praise Olawanle

Praise Olawanle graduated from the LSE in her LLB Degree in July 2023. During her time at the LSE, she was heavily involved within the LSE Law School, the LSESU Hockey Club and the LSESU African-Caribbean Society.

She is a Future Trainee Solicitor at Stephenson Harwood and will be joining the firm in 2024 after securing a training contract in the summer of 2022. She is currently doing the LLM Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) at BPP Law School.
