LTS Book Launch: How to think about AI: A guide for the perplexed

March 27, 2025 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Join us for a launch event celebrating How to Think About AI, the latest book by Richard Susskind, which explores the profound impact of artificial intelligence on society, business, and the legal world.

In this thought-provoking new work, Susskind draws on over 40 years of research to demystify AI, shifting the focus from how AI systems work to what they mean for our future. As the pace of AI breakthroughs accelerates—from once a decade to every few months—Susskind argues that the defining challenge of our time is balancing AI’s extraordinary benefits with its existential risks.

The book addresses some of today’s most urgent questions: How will AI reshape industries, professions, and governance? What ethical and legal dilemmas does it pose? Can we harness AI for the greater good while protecting humanity from its threats?

This launch event provides a unique opportunity to hear from the author himself and engage in a timely discussion on the implications of artificial intelligence—an issue that will shape our world for generations to come.
